SRSA Awards for Teaching, Research, Extension, and Public Service

SRSA recognizes professionals in the association who have made significant contributions in Teaching, Research, Extension/Outreach, and Public Service. Nominations are currently being sought for the 2021 Awards. The awards for Excellence in Teaching, Excellence in Research, and Excellence in Extension/Outreach recognize SRSA members, while the award for Excellence in Public Service may be presented to a SRSA member or non-member.

To nominate an individual, please send a 2-page letter with the name of the individual being nominated, the proposed award category, qualifications of the nominee for the award, and other supporting documentation by email to buddhi.gyawali@kysu.edu

The nomination letter should document the nominee’s significant contributions as they apply to the appropriate award. The nominator should provide supporting documentation such as a current vitae, publications, project description, and course syllabi, as applicable. In addition, the person making the nomination should seek at least one additional letter of support for the nominee. Please visit the SRSA website for additional information on nomination, selection criteria and other information.

A nominee should have been an active member of SRSA for at least two previous years, except nominees in the category of public service, which is open to non-members.
