Chelsea Baddley grew up in Southaven, Mississippi. She received a Bachelor of Arts in History and Sociology at the University of Mississippi. Currently, she is a first year graduate student in the university’s Sociology department. Her research interests include gender inequalities, education policies, teenage mothers, and poverty. Once Chelsea has earned her master’s degree, she is determined to pursue her PhD in Sociology, where she hopes to do policy research on increasing the college graduation rates for teenage mothers in the United States.
