The Applied Policy and Community Research Laboratory (APCRL) at the University of Mississippi seeks to utilize multi-disciplinary, multi-method, and community engaged research to improve the quality of development programming, domestically and abroad, and to inform policy related to community wellbeing. The unique blend of data analytics capabilities and community based research data makes the APCRL uniquely situated to accomplish both of these goals.

In 2019, the University of Mississippi Community Wellbeing Constellation recorded a series of community engagement podcasts hosted by APCRL coordinator Annie Cafer and CPS research affiliate Meagen Rosenthal, and featuring CPS staff, research affiliates, and partners.

In 2020, the Applied Policy and Community Research Laboratory launched the APCRL Brief Series, building on the Center’s combined strengths of community based work and population level data.

You can support the Applied Policy and Community Research Laboratory’s work in Mississippi and the Delta region by donating to the Delta Directions Fund.
