Randy Morgan

Randy Jewel Morgan was born and raised in Mississippi and grew up living in small towns in Pontotoc, Lee, and Union counties. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in History and Sociology at the University of Mississippi, he joined the University’s Sociology department as a graduate student where his research interests are rural sociology, inequality in Mississippi, demography, poverty, and labor. Randy aspires to earn a PhD in rural sociology following the completion of his Master’s degree.
